FinMaster Academy ("we", "us", "our") is an online learning platform operated from Kampala, Uganda. We are committed to protecting your personal information.
We collect: your full name and email address when you register; payment information (processed by Pesapal — we do not store card details); content progress data (tutorials watched, quiz scores, certificates earned); and technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and analytics.
We use your information to: provide access to purchased content; send purchase confirmations and expiry reminders via email; generate completion certificates; improve the platform; and communicate important updates. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL database with row-level security), hosted on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit.
We use the following third-party services: Pesapal (payment processing, Uganda/Kenya); Resend (transactional email delivery); Vercel (website hosting, USA); Supabase (database, USA); Bunny.net (video delivery, EU). Each has their own privacy policy.
We use essential cookies only (authentication session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser but this will prevent you from logging in.
You have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and data; object to processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Purchase records are retained for 7 years for tax and audit purposes. You may request deletion of personal data not required for legal compliance.
FinMaster Academy is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
